ABBA impersonator Aaron Keown argues that the best future for the damaged Christchurch Cathedral is to give it a starring role in a Christchurch franchise of the popular Australian tv series "The Block". Aaron aka Bjorn chastises the engineers who have assessed the building as being too negative. "I wouldn't be hosting a weekly quiz night and karaoke night at Kaiapoi's The Mak bar if I had been negative."
Bjorn offered his expert opinion "The damaged west side was ruined but could be replaced with glass and the steeple rebuilt with wood."
Bjorn sums it up : " We can't let these experts with all their degrees telling us what to do , clearly that Matthews person has let her head be got to by these squints. Lets get four honest Kiwi couples in there , they can slug it out on prime time TV for the grand prize : 12 months as Bishop of Christchurch."
