That initiative, alone has bought thousands of young people south and added immeasurably to the vitality of the city. Shadbolt’s omnipresent carnivorous grin notwithstanding, he has carried out his mayoral duties well. Prentice is, by all accounts, an excellent wife and mother. But, she is best known for being world famous in Southland as a moderately successful country singer. An achievement of this nature in anyone fronting for the city is of dubious benefit given that the place is burdened by an undeserved Hicksville reputation. It’s all a bit too “Slim Dusty - Live From Wagga Wagga”, for Lambcut’s tastes. We welcome correction on this, but, as far as we know Prentice has no other particular qualifications to befit her for the mayoralty. Perhaps she is seeking some of her former glory in the spotlight.LAMBCUThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17240290996221102046noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2686354713190138224.post-491933899092466282010-09-13T22:22:06.597+12:002010-09-13T22:22:06.597+12:00I agree with Seafarmer. I found myself wondering what on eath i had just listened to.

Prentice came off slightly better than Shadbolt - mainly for the mere fact that Shadbolt put Laws on hold and never returned lolJacquelinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09077036678119682927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2686354713190138224.post-4446883219198220482010-09-13T21:18:40.813+12:002010-09-13T21:18:40.813+12:00so-called debate on talkback radio today was vacuo...so-called debate on talkback radio today was vacuous - on both sides, imho, sorry.
