Paleoclimate studies and the relation to climate change are an enormous area of research.<BR><BR>As reported in press, I find Professor Plimer's geological viewpoint a little bloodless.<BR><BR>Sea level may rise as much as 2 metres in the next century (that's not an alarmist statistic, its the top end of the most reputable study).
