JENNINGS - " A LITTLE BIT COMPETITIVE"

Well looky here - this is a story that should have had NZ biz journalists salivating like schoolboys in a brothel.

Looks like there has been some interesting shenanigans over at the home of one of our richest ex pats, the good lookin boy from the 'Naki, Stephen Jennings.

Seems like there has been a raid on the Renaissance Groups clients but in another story it appears that Jennings thinks he is on top of his game and leading the company back to prosperity. He puts that down to the talent of his staff.

In a section on entrepreneurship in his memo Jennings wrote: “We are entrepreneurs. Tough, pragmatic professionals driven by independence, intuition and opportunity. With the urge to build and get things done. World-class professionals who are insightful, ingenious and resourceful. And, just a little bit competitive.”

Shit just a little bit??!!! We would hate to see the lanky big bugger be very competitive. ....

Anyway its time that NZ journos broadened their horizons and took a look at what some of our favoured sons and daughters are doing overseas.

OF RUGBY , RUSSIA AND ONE COOL RICH BUGGER

We still get a lot of hits on the website for Stephen Jennings - the Taranaki boy who is one of the country's most successful expat entrepreneurs.
Anyway it seems he has an interest in backing rugby in Taranaki and emerging business opportunities in Kenya.

Now that's a diverse portfolio if we ever saw one. We hope the boy from the 'Naki gets to buy a bit of Rugby Action. Maybe some of those beanpole Kenyans would shape up nicely as sevens players.
