WANK STORY ALERT

We are still in bed, still a wee bit foggy but this story on Stuff made us perk up a bit. What a pathetic piece of tosh.

It has been written as some sort of expose. The premise is that this government has hired some heavy hitters to sort out the spending and performance of some of the more troublesome Government departments.

Everyone in the public service knows they are there and what they are doing and they aren't on open ended big contracts. They are being paid a set amount with very defined performance criteria.

The bottom line is money will be saved. Improvements will be made.

Hardly a big expose. Can we have some real stories please or do we need to leave it to the likes of Whale Oil and KiwiBlog to do that???

IRD is in for a shake up. Its been the talk of the town for a couple of weeks.

We think that customs will also see some changes. And please , Womens Affairs. Scrap it.
