JONES NO JERK.

So its a 3 way race as we predicted. The surprising thing is that Cunliffe has hoodwinked so many people. We thought his narcissistic traits would have put a off a lot of punters.

Jones has never lifted his pedal from the metal. He has shown that he is wily, smart and honest, well as honest as you will get any poly to be.

He deserves to carry the red banner.

STAY STAUNCH DAMIEN!

Dont back down.

You are our new political hero. You have shown courage and mettle. You have shown that you wont be cowered by titty waving feminazis and union thugs.

We though you were a crap Minister but we have always admired the way you stuck out your skinny neck to back up the good folks on the West Coast.

So stick this tune on your ipod as you head into caucus..

Dont back down... Every kiwi bloke and every sheila who loves and appreciates a good kiwi bloke is batting for you..

RUTH DYSON UP TO ARSE IN TROUGH

Yip, we think that Ipredict should run a stock on Ruth Dyson quitting politics.. First Goff gives her the arse off the front bench and then it seems she has had a big scoff at the trough with a splash of the taxpayers cash on some spurious overseas travel - before the rules changed.

How bloody cynical is that??? No doubt she will have been up in biz class being plied with plenty of free grog- as we all know she has a penchant for the piss.

And people who have a sense of entitlement always sneak out with all they can fill their pockets with, as they head for the door the last time.

So don't Labour voters deserve to know if she is on her way out? Labour is in dire need of some new blood. The current front bench still has the sickly palour of undead political corpses.

Failure has sucked the life out of them.

EAT EM UP

While the focus is on the demotion of Jones Carter and Ririnui we can report that a former Labour politician is carving out a new career in the real world. Mark Peck was a good constituent MP for Southland and latterly was the Director of the Smokefree Coalition.

However, he is now the proprietor of a new cafe ( well an old cafe with a new name ) called Little Peckish.

Now Mark is - errr vertically challenged so the name is a delightful pisstake. Food looks good too. We are wondering after serving Southland for so long if he he will offer up Southland's favourite morning tea filler - the cheese roll.

He was a unionist for quite some time and we expect that being an employer and a capitalist will be an interesting progression on his way to be a better man.

BLOG ROUND UP

We were the lone voice among the VWRC when the petulant Michael Laws gave a lovely bunch of kids some stick for getting crappy about the spelling of Whanganui. Today however, Adam over at Inquiring Mind has an elegant take down of the dick head Joris de Bres who decided to give the kids concerned a certificate. While we still say that Laws handled the whole affair badly, De Bres has again shown he is a dork. So Adam gets top points for his take down.

Kiwiblog is afraid,
that his honest and spot on analysis of Key in very public forums may not endear him to the PM.

Alf Grumble covers the most important event of the week.

And the doom merchants over at Red Alert blather on about the Bridgestone closure

NOT SUCH GOOD BASTARDS

Labour is in retreat and on the back foot literally after TVNZ showed them no favours by turning a story about the party getting back to its roots - into a yarn about a $50,000 taxpayer junket where Labour gets pissed on the coast.

Now there is a very famous club on the Coast called the Good Bastards and we reckon we would bet all the whitebait in the world that there is no way these pinko dorks are gonna get on the list.

So, even after they have sucked the coffers dry they still think they have the right to bleed the country in an effort to reconnect with the heartland.
Definitely not Good Bastards - just Arrogant Bastards

MIKE WILLIAMS RESIGNS OFF BOARDS

Or so RNZ is reporting - bloody fantastic. But he should have done it the day after the election. The wanker has the morals of a sewer rat And there should be more Labourites who warm the seats of many SOE's who should also be considering resigning.
