GAY GEESE AND GAGGLING GIRLS

We have already blogged on what we see as a very dangerous development for Labour - the rise and rise of Andrew Little and his comrades - a flea bitten motley crew of die hard unionists, know for their strong arm tactics and crimson red philosophies.

Actually its got to be said - these unionists who have a huge influence on Little, are actually commie cuddlers.

So we think the Damien O'Connor is a wise and brave man. He has told Labour leaders to stick their party list up some well worn arses , as he believe its stacked with and by unionists and a " gaggle of gays"

Mr O'Connor said he stood aside because he did not trust the list ranking process. "Frankly, I didn't trust the system to give a straight-shooter a fair deal ... It is dominated by self-serving unionists and a gaggle of gays."

He would not name individuals, but said he was disappointed the system did not deliver better results for rural and provincial candidates, such as himself, who were outside the party's power blocs.

"It does not truly represent the rank-and-file members and delivers a list that is not truly representative of those who vote Labour."

Damien used to flat with John Tamihere - so his verbal skills have been well honed during lengthy conversations over weetbix. So they share a loathing of power hungry, muff loving front bums
While O'Connor has never been a high fligher, and he was known as a particularly dithering Minister, he is a staunch supporter of the West Coast and sits so far to the right of Labour he would probably have found a comfy pozzy in National.

But he is right about Labours list - it has few stand out candidates, there are too many commie cuddlers for most Labour voting urban liberals and there are too many people of alternative sexual persuasions for the commie cuddlers.

Damien is well respected on the Coast and if he gets his shit together, and doesn't get sidetracked by some skinny bint in frilly knickers he might just snatch the seat off Chris Auchinvole.

As for Labour, they are being rooted , in the worst possible way, by that " gaggle of gays."

UPDATE - and Gonzo has squizz at what Labour might look like in the future..

NGATI WAEWAE BUSINESS IN TAI POUTINI

Its good to see hard work pay off and the opening of the Te Waipounamu Maori Heritage Centre on the West Coast is an example of just that. It is a great centre and has a superb website that is well linked into the tourism sector. We wish Ngati Waewae the best.

SOLID ENERGY CLEAN UP ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION

Solid Energy is a responsible company that cares for the environment. It is in the business of extracting coal from the Earth and the company does a bloody good job getting the land back to the way it was after they have finished mining.

However their latest move has eclipsed all their previous environmental protections.

<---------They have removed one of the most hideous dirty smelly eyesores in Happy Valley
And they have made sure that it will not be back.

While under the previous government they were forced to go at Snails pace, under this administration common sense has prevailed and they can get on with doing what they do best, mine coal.

We think that the Solid Energy should be given this years Green Ribbon Award for Environmental Champions for their efforts in reducing visual pollution onthe West Coast.

The snail huggers will be very unhappy . Time to get a job boys and girls , time to get a job.

UPDATE:
Well slather the snails in garlic butter - someone in Solid Energy has a sense of humour. They biffed the rabid snail huggers off the mine site on EARTH DAY.

The Greens are as snotty as - snail snot.

We cant stop laughing !

NEW ZEALAND - THE GOOD COUNTRY

Bustedblondes parents are tooling around in their motorhome - affectionately known as Bugsy's Burrow, somewhere on the West Coast.

Little Sis got a bit panicky when she couldnt raise them on their mobile.

But they called in tonight . They are, as usual having a ball,

And after five nights away they have had , eels, trout, crayfish, venison and whitebait. They got the venison after dad sorted someones TV out , and some whitebiat because they didnt catch much but a nice coaster gave them a big feed .

They will undoubtedly catch some flounder and probably score some paua as well. And they will catch some salmon ( if its the season ) as well.

And chuck in a feed of mussels as a fair bet.

They pretty much go away with veges from their garden , mums fantastic preserves and some lamb from my uncle..

Its not bad when the old boy is 73 and mum is 68 and full of arthritis has a steel knee and pins in her back.

Anyway - Its the hospitality they get and give in return that is the hallmark of this fair land - long may it stay that way.
