Tauranga Libricide

The Tauranga City Council plans to introduce a charge of 50 cents for every adult fiction and non-fiction book - a move widely condemned, including by a group of activists calling themselves The Raging Readers.

Sounds like a good start to me!

These nostalgic ratepayer draining leisure institutions should be sold forthwith and run by charitable organisations;-)

I thought all Librarys did this already.
