Sad this is very sad - we heard about it earlier this week. Aotearoa Fisheries buys up Ngai Tahu's dream and one of the vehicles it had to employ and train its own.. Shame on them.
We understand it will add less than $2 million to Ngai Tahu's coffers.

Who'd have thought Cactus would side with Fried Sushi rather than the Prawn?
I've always thought Cactus's strength lay in her individual perspective - not beholden to others.
Same goes for Whale really.
But now both opt to align themselves with someone in the corner (and it would appear the pay) of a Ngai Tahu organisation that doesn't take kindly to criticism - the sort of fearless criticism I've always valued from Cactus and Whale.
Thankfully I know I'll still get that sort of fearless commentary here.
