Bustedblonde remains astounded how people don't link the overseas financial bloodbath with NZ . It seems people here think we are somehow isolated enough not to feel the pain of the Global financial crisis.
That's just plain dumb - and here is another example of just how it will hit - in the highly competitive DIY market things could get tough very quickly as construction and home building grinds to a near stop.
Take us for instance - 6 months ago we couldn't get a tradesman to do some work for us - now they are seeking us out ..
