We became very alarmed when the early results came in on election night and NZ First was hovering around the 5%. Then some knowledgeable person suggested it was because of the special votes cast in rest homes.
So we would like a new rule. After you turn 75 you can't vote without written permission from your children. And we expect all children of parents over 75 to exercise some guidance over voting.

OK, but only if blondes are also subject to supervised voting by brunettes ...
thats just silly - the only blonde we reckon that would have voted for Winston was his girlfriend
While I am not yet any where near 75, 13 long years to go I am concerned about that new law.
Three of my four children may have given their party vote to Labour - `because Labour gives them money'.
On that basis I wouldn't trust any of them to help me vote.
I think my kids voted for Bill and Ben ...
Dear BB
