FRAN O'SULLIVAN IS ON THE BUTTON - AN INQUIRY INTO CORRUPTION IS A MUST

We agree with Fran, we have brought this issue of an inquiry up in the past - there is a stench about the fish scandals ( there is more than one of them) and we have one political party, NZ First who is linked to policy for pay and another, Labour who has turned a blind eye to the mounting evidence of corruption. Rodney Hide has told Roarprawn that he wont rest until he gets to the bottom of the scandal. Good. It should be one of the things he requires of any deals he does with National.

In principle I have no problems with a corruption enquiry but because the talent pool is so small, and the consequent risk of bias, actual or percieved is so high, we in NZ may have to borrow australia's one!

Great in theory but if they perform like the SFO, who failed to interview the key player Ross Meurant in the Vela (and others) donation saga, then you can get the whitewash brush out, yet again.

Pathetic performance by the SFO.

National and Act won't push for an inquiry because for all the public may know, they too may have been on the receiving end. If NZF have, and United have, who's to say they haven't? The person who would know is Phil Kitchin, assuming he has all the documents.
