The word on the street is that Fonterra is seeking 70,000 square meters of storage for their milk powder mountain. That is a lot of powder. At the same time Dairy Trust? is building powder plants. One is at the Affco works in Wanganui. Do they know something Fonterra doesn't?
Another little snippett is about a squash and onion processor here in the Manawatu who is so far down on last years that he is downsizing in a massive way.
Scary Data indeed.
