Believe it or not...
A welsh mother has narrowly escaped jail for child abuse after she was caught teaching her 3 yr old to smoke.
We dont like tobacco, we want to see tobacco displays banned - its a childrens health issue - full stop.

Just today, the US senate has voted to further fund child heathcare (SCHIP) by increasing tax on cigarettes.
Sends the wrong message I think, firstly by linking child health to cigarettes but also removes the incentives to cut down tobacco consumption.
I would dearly LOVE to see the corner shop's "wall of death" banned and all cigarettes stored under the counter.

Not so. Cigarette smokers rarely care about child health. After all, they smoke around their own children. However, they DO care about the money in their pocket. This tax will reduce smoking slightly but probably not provide many extra dollars for child health.
