LESS IS MORE - VEITCH NEEDS BETTER PR

First principles of damage control - say less, not more, dont hint about dirt, unless you can claim the moral high ground and you can slam dunk the otherside, and dont ever over expose your self in the media. It creates the me, me, me look.

The revelations in the Sunday Star Times, Sunday News and Herald on Sunday that Veitch has again been thinking of suicide are no surprise. He is under immense pressure. But he is paying for good advice and we are not convinced he has got his monies worth. His advisors are being paid to help Veitch tell his story - and it has not been told well. The emails, if released earlier, may have elicited more sympathy for Veitch.

However we were right about Kirstin Dunne- Powell - she is a paua, a clingon, the irrationality of obsessive love burns bright in her eyes, even now.

So Cactus reckons that Veitch
should head to far shores to get away from it all. A couple a weeks in Stewart Island or the West Coast where people don't give a shit about celebrity and show you what matters in life are where the boy should head.

He needs perspective.

Agree with you. DP sick in the mind, Hughes hopeless, Veitch needs time out in a spiritual place.

Christ BB you want the poor man to try to kill himself again?

Sun, surf - Fiji or Hawaii. I can hook him up on a deserted Island.

Lambcut recommends Orepuki on the Southern coast of Southland. It's a staggeringly gorgeous wild sort of place and boasts one of Lambcut's favorite pubs. Lambcut’s old ganger (head of the shearing gang she used to contract) owns the pub; great bloke called Phil. Hardly anyone there would know who Veitch was, and they wouldn’t give a toss if they did. It’s a pretention free zone. The beer is cheap and cold at the 'Puki pub, and the hearts are warm. Everyone has made mistakes, and everyone there has the good grace to know it. Best of all, the weather is bitterly cold, so, you need to get about in your swanny with your woolly hat pulled right down.

However, there are standards. There is a sign at the Pub door that says you have to "remove muddy boots". Might suit Veitch.

Glad to see someone's brave enough to point out dunne-powell's culpability in the mess.

Veitch really does need to learn the art of silence. He has little enough dignity as it is, the least he could do is remain silent and at least look try and look dignified in his silence. Pleading for sympathy via the media shows he needs to man up. "Ooooohh, the media doesn't like me, I might do a half arsed suicide attempt to make them like me." A real man would bugger off somewhere quiet for a month with the missus.

And she is not much better. Bunny boiler. Do some digging around her previous employer (large telecom company)- get the gossip on the coverup that went on there and why........

Lambcut, how dare you send the womanbasher to a place where there are no mirrors, no sycaphants, no dominos delivered 24 hrs,no rich rellys,no carwash cafes,no mall, no Ponsonby Road, no Viaduct,no Murray Deaker,no Whitehouse,no lattes, no Sky reception, no broadband and dare I say it no women to kick. The bugger would go looking for a cliff.

Lambcut

Their pretention is their continual and repeated denials of having any pretention at all.

Nope,
sorry don't think Tony should bunker down in HI ... already had one tourist with a known history of mental illness and depression cause self harm in the last 12 months. The hawaiian tourism industry needs positive press right now.
