big ship needs surgery - the herald reports that the government is spending $20m on a get well programme for the new vessel.
The Canterbury needs 20mill in surgery to get fix = 15 months after it was first put in the water.
Its a dog - plain and simple.
And National needs to have a serious look at the Defence Department -its the bit that really sick.

There is a well acepted truism in the yachting world that part of sea-worthiness is in lines that are pleasing to the eye. Canterbury is not.
