TSUNAMI EFFECTS ON COOKS

Jack Cooper the owner of Trader Jacks ,the Cook islands haven for miscreants, good bastards and drunks, which has been replaced a couple of times after big storms, again faced the wrath of the elements with the advent of last weeks Tsunami.

While the Cooks and Traders were spared the devastation, the rise and fall of water - every 4 minutes over the course of an hour, had Jack worried enough to head for high ground and watch Nature lick at steps of his bar while he supped on a gin.

The first pic is of the Avarua Harbour as the wave slicks out - the second and third are as it laps at the wharf.
