IN PRAISE OF GRAVITAS

Gravitas is one of our favourite wines. It is a winery that has a interesting story here. They are on the search for the fifth piece of heaven. It is a wonderful concept . - only the best - we like that. We think the fifth piece of heaven will be Southern Glory Oysters

Anyway we had a great lunch with some good mates at Arbitrageur today. The Gravitas Pinot Nior from Marborough was a definite hit. We also had some Nanny Goat Pinot Noir from Central
It too was a good drop but didn't have the complexity of the Gravitas.

\yes, I remeber arbitrageur some years back.
Yummy food and drink.
I must check out the local oyster scene in the Bay Of Islands.

I don't remember Gravitas wine, but I am sure their sauv blancs must be good, judging by where they are grown.

yumm, Gravitas unoaked chardy is a nice drop, and the pink stuff (rose pinot). I like the parma ham idea myself though (wipes drool off chin)

I doubt you have been to Arbitrageur FFM. You must have it confused with a cheap bar in Manners Mall.

First I can't recall Lindauer being on the menu and second, most of the mains are over 30 bucks.

Oh yes Cactus, I have been, I wasn't paying.
I am a journo after all and it was a lunch put on for the media.
