Staff at TVNZ are reeling this morning after being informed that the budget axe is about to fall and its expected $25million will be cut . Staff have been told that jobs will go.

Despite the charter, TVNZ is becoming increasingly culturally irrelevant.
Time to sell it.
Well, 627,000 people (over the age of 5) watched One News last night. Shortland Street attracted 484,000, and a trashy reality show like Coastwatch got 516,000 viewers.
