I'm a small business owner so I am happy with the announcements.
The only thing that I have a concern with is the suggestion that increasing the jursidctional limits in the Disputes Tribunal will reduce the amount of time small business owners will spend in court.
That is wrong as the time spent won't change because preparation for a DT claim sucks up manpower for preparation (which is king) as does attending the tribunal.
Also lawyers will remain involved as they will be ghost writing material for their clients. Preparation and presentation go a long way in the Disputes Tribunal (as with other jursidictions) so people will continue to pay for that.
I know becasue I do this for clients quite regularly.
